Founded in 1966, Interim HealthCare Inc. is the nation's oldest health care franchise company. In 1966, Interim HealthCare was originally called Medical Personnel Pool. It was a division of Labor Pool of America, which was founded in 1946. Today, the Interim HealthCare brand encompasses home care, hospice and health care staffing services.
There are more than 300 independently owned franchise locations in 43 states that provide nursing, therapy and non-medical home care, hospice and healthcare staffing services. Interim's independent franchisees employ 40,000 health care workers and provide nurses, therapists, aides and other health care personnel to approximately 50,000 people annually.
Headquartered in Sunrise Florida, Interim HealthCare Inc. has a team of on-site and field based professionals who support the franchisee network primarily in the areas of operations, training, marketing and sales.

In August 1995, Rick and Terry purchased the Portland and Salem branch offices from the corporate office bringing them into our franchise group. This location has many years of healthcare and customer service in our office team and primarily employs home care aides, certified nursing assistants, LPNs, and RNs.
