Responsible for monitoring various general ledger accounts, prepares journal entries and financial reports, conducts analysis. Maintains separate General Ledgers for the Medical Center, restricted funds, and its subsidiaries. Establishes controls for cash posting and miscellaneous receivables and other assets/liabilities.
Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or closely related field and two to three years of previous work related experience. Proficiency of Microsoft Office preferred. Requires analytical skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment, attention to detail and problem resolution. Must possess strong customer service, communication, organizational & interpersonal skills.
