    Job Description:
    • Support fraud analysis and rule testing as a member of fraud strategy & analytics teams. Supporting the team in fraud loss and defect analysis, and business users in completing the user acceptance test execution.
    • Work with fraud strategy & analytics teams and business partners to assemble data from various sources into datasets to analyze the information to source and other related data to analyze fraud events and/or misses.
    • Provide support to data quality and data validation through analysis of data and assisting in understanding the meaning of data.
    • Perform data profiling on large sets data stored on Hadoop and RDBMS platform.

    Required Skills:
    • Strong Analytic Skills; working knowledge of core banking products;
    • Experience in creating dashboards with data quality key performance indicators (KPIs)
    • Connecting, wrangling, and cleaning data from relational, or Hadoop databases using SQL, Python, R, or other tools to make data consumable for analysis.
    • Analyzing data to obtain new insights that will lead to improved efficiencies, lower cost, or reduced business risk. You may be using Excel, Python, R, SQL / HQL and other tools. You may be able to visualize your results using data visualization tools to make your conclusions more understandable to your audience.
    • Analyzing the statistical relationship of data to a problem to be solved using SQL, Python, or R. Determine new and creative sources of data and then determining the comparative strength of the relationship to the problem after the new data is applied.

    • Leverages analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and applications for a business function or business unit to create data driven solutions.
    • Recommending appropriate performance measures to be produced including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.
    • Analyzing and processing data, building and maintaining models and report templates, and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions.
    • Providing business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from, data processing, and data analysis.
    • Consulting on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools and data marts.

    Effective Communications - Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

    Work Experience

    Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
