The Division of Hematology/Oncology at the UNC School of Medicine is recruiting for an individual to help expand our gastrointestinal program. The successful candidate for this open rank faculty position in the Division of Hematology/Oncology will have clinical expertise and research experience in gastrointestinal medical oncology and clinical research.
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill offers an exceptionally collaborative environment with very strong clinical programs in both hematology and oncology. The Hematology/Oncology and GI solid tumor program has been highly successful program for decades, with an exceptional track record in clinical care as well as outcomes clinical research. This program is supported by a team of professionals, including experts in gastrointestinal oncology and hematology/oncology.
MD or DO required. The candidate must be board eligible or board certified in Hematology/Oncology.
Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate for this open rank faculty position in the Division of Hematology/Oncology will have clinical expertise and research experience. Qualified candidates will possess broad medical knowledge and demonstrate excellence in medical practice. Essential skills for this position include effective interprofessional collaboration and teamwork, and excellent clinical communication skills relevant to serious illness care.
