    Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Microelectronic Technician 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be based in Manhattan Beach, CA.

    This position is vital in maintaining the highest quality standards in the cutting edge of the microelectronics industry. The microelectronic technician performs any or all of the following assembly tasks in a collaborative team environment:

    Component mount (die attach), wire & ribbon bonding, solvent and particle cleaning, connector installation, precision hand work, and microscope inspection.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the processing in Module Assembly & Test department on 1st or 2nd shift.

    Qualifications :

    Basic Qualifications:

    A High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or experience with electronics in a lab environment

    Computer & Microsoft Office experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Previous microelectronics assembly experience including demonstration of manual dexterity (work with tweezers, blades, and probes; rework/repair, fixturing)

    Familiarity with shop order or manufacturing execution systems (MES)
