    Northrop Grumman is seeking Quality Engineers. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Baltimore, MD.

    The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Mission Assurance and will be exposed to assignments in Supplier Quality, Program Quality, Data Analytics, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Software CM.

    The selected candidate will work in a project environment and/or with employees who define the Mission Systems procedures for quality assurance of engineering products.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product

    Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place

    Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment

    Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications

    Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements

    Evaluates key suppliers, ensure the suppliers are performing well and their capacity and capability to deliver products on time is acceptable

    Qualifications :

    Basic Qualifications

    A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
    • Be completing or have completed their degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) from an accredited institution
    • Be majoring or having majored in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering
    • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
    • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher
    • Good presentation and writing/communication skills
    • Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment
    • Experience in working in an autonomous work environment on complex projects
    • Experience in working on business or engineering full life-cycle projects from project inception through launch
