Northrop Grumman is seeking experienced personnel with P-3 aircraft background to support a contingent maintenance program with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in Jacksonville, FL. The CBP P-3 fleet consists of Airborne Early Warning (AEW) and Long Range Tracker (LRT) high-endurance, all-weather, tactical turbo-prop aircraft. The AEW aircraft are utilized primarily for long-range patrols along the entire U.S. border, and in source and transit zone countries. The LRT aircraft are used to intercept, track airborne and surface threats in source and transit zone countries. The P-3 aircraft are equipped with state-of-the-art, highly sophisticated sensor equipment, i.e., radar, electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) detecting systems.

We are looking for a self-starting individual that can work independently to maintain and operate computer equipment in support of an operational aircraft maintenance department.
Duties include operating and monitoring computer equipment while performing routine tasks to maintain computer equipment and their peripherals. Ability to coordinate department activity maintenance reporting requirements, prepare aircraft and maintenance related correspondence; maintain directive control and custody records, control forms and reporting requirements; maintain files on departmental organization, manning, detachment personnel, and training requirements; input, verify, and validate data pertaining to the history, operation, maintenance, configuration, receipt, and transfer of aircraft, related aeronautical equipment, and components installed in those equipment; maintain operations department flight data historical files and aviator data.
Everything in the Aviation must be properly documented, checked twice for accuracy, and properly filed and logged as any incident or inspection by higher echelon, FAA, or National Transportation Safety Board can lead to lives lost and careers ending.
1. High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
2. Knowledge of office computer management systems and procedures
3. Proficient in MS Office
4. Experience in maintaining computer and manual filing systems
5. Experience handling sensitive information in a confidential manner
6. Ability to obtain/maintain a DOD Secret clearance; Interim Secret is required to start.
7. Ability to obtain/maintain a Department of Homeland Security Background Investigation
1. Familiarity with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Programs (NAMP) or equivalent
2. Associates or higher degree in related field.
