    Northrop Grumman is currently seeking an experienced aircraft fluid subsystems analyst capable of working under general supervision. The qualified candidate will perform fluid system related analysis in support of the development of aircraft subsystems as well as the integration of aircraft avionics and the installation of various aircraft hardware. Analysis includes, but not limited to, subsystem performance modeling, such as liquid cooling systems, air cycle systems, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, fluid distribution systems, and compartment temperature assessments as influenced by structural heat transfer and compartment heat sources. Position responsibilities will also include system level test planning, execution support, verification, and trouble-shooting.



    Qualifications :

    Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 2+ years of experience or Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with any level of experience related to performing thermodynamic, fluid mechanic and/or heat transfer analysis related to military/commercial aircraft and subsystems.
    This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with focus on thermodynamic, fluid mechanic and heat transfer analysis.
    Experience with aircraft fluid subsystem development, analysis, supplier management, system level integration, test, and verification for advance aircraft.
    Experience modeling fluid systems utilizing Amesim software, heat transfer networks using NX Thermal software, and/or CFD experience.
    Experience interpreting component detail drawings, specifications, installation drawings, and test procedures.
    Current DoD clearance, refreshed within the past 6 years.
