The position is for an electrical systems lead of a one year technology development program culminating in a power system prototype and a downselect to a flight demonstration. The initial contract includes designing and building prototypes for a power card, high-efficiency batteries, and a new solar array.
Electrical Systems engineering responsibilities include supporting design reviews, writing procurements, writing test software, defining and managing hardware and software interfaces, and requirements verification. The role will include interface with clients, as well as regular interactions with internal engineering associates and program management. The role may require assisting in new business activities such as conceptual design and analysis for proposals and funded studies, and may include authoring sections for both.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 5 years experience.
Must have U.S. Citizenship with current or active Top Secret level clearance.
This position can also be filled a level higher with a Bachelor's Degree & 9 years experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Master's Degree
Experience with electrical hardware testing
Familiarity with development of electrical hardware
