    Job Description

    Function in supervisory capacity for all business activities associated with the Joint STARS Program within the Aircraft Maintenance and Fabrication Center Operating Unit. Position reports directly to the AMFC Business Manager to establish strategy, prioritize requirements, and achieve financial goals while ensuring the integrity of business processes. Provide business oversight, interface with applicable customers and auditors (internal and external) and assist with contract negotiations to ensure sound business deals within authorized parameters are achieved. Interface with diverse functional areas to ensure risks are understood and financial performance is achieved. Oversee and perform all financial efforts related to the Joint STARS Program which include business management, program control and Earned Value Management. The successful candidate must possess an understanding of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS); Federal Cost Principles to include direct versus indirect, allowable vs. unallowable and have a working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), Financial Planning to include Annual Operating Plan development and budgeting.


    Qualifications :

    Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field with at least 8 years related Finance Analysis/Reporting and/or budget administration experience.
    • Knowledge of SAP/Business Warehouse (BW)
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
    • Strong Earned Value Management background
    • Knowledge of MPM
    • Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR/DFAR
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Strong financial background
    • Experience managing business functions and negotiating contracts
    • Experience with preparation and submission of bid/contract proposals as well as support in the resolution of price disputes
    • Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR/DFAR
    • Knowledge of Tableau data visualization tool
