    Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Systems Test Planning Engineer / Principal Systems Test Planning Engineer. This position will be located in [location] and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.

    Position on the System Test Team (STT) to plan system level integration and test activities. Collaborate with other IPTs to define test objectives and requirements for test activities in the System Integration Labs. Candidate will author system-level test information/planning sheets based on allocated requirements.
    • Position requires knowledge of system integration and test principles
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidate will be required to prepare and brief to leadership
    • Desired skillsets include: Knowledge of CAMEO and/or MBSE principals, previous test experience at any level of build (unit, element, segment, etc.)

    This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

    This role will sit in Roy, Utah when the campus opens which is anticipated to be June 2020. Until this time, you may temporarily office out of Ogden or Promontory facilities.

    Qualifications :

    This requisition may be filled at either a Systems Test Engineer or Principal Systems Test Engineer level.

    Basic Qualifications for Systems Test Planning Engineer Level:
    • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of System Test experience; or 0 Years with Masters; An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • Active DoD Secret clearance must be held and maintained. U.S. Citizenship is required.
    • Knowledge of system integration and test principles.
    Basic Qualifications for the Principal Systems Test Planning Engineer Level:
    • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of System Test experience; or 3 Years with Masters; or 0 Years with PhD. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • Active DoD Secret clearance must be held and maintained. U.S. Citizenship is required.
    • Knowledge of system integration and test principles.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of CAMEO and/or MBSE principals
    • Previous test experience at any level of build (unit, element, segment, etc.)
