    Northrop Grumman Space Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.
    We are looking for an experienced Principal Engineer Systems to support the Systems Engineering business development needs for Launch Vehicles business unit in Chandler, AZ.
    Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

    Will be Systems Engineering Integration & Test representative supporting proposal-writing efforts for Business Development including analyzing cost history for bidders from projects where directly involved.


    Qualifications :

    Basic Qualifications:

    BS Engineering plus 5 years experience, Masters plus 3 years or PhD with 0 years required

    U.S. Citizenship is required

    Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Doors database experience
