Successful candidates for this position will work as a systems engineering and integration team member for a space program in Dulles VA, in the NSS business area within the Space Systems Sector.
Candidates should be capable of cross-disciplinary technical understanding. This position requires the ability to understand, track, and adapt system external interfaces across a large swath of internal and external stakeholders. It requires significant attention to detail and organization. A successful candidate balances the appropriate applications of consensus with decisiveness, and is capable of motivating internal and external entities to close on technical inputs without having to wield any formal authority over those entities. The candidate will be responsible for software, hardware, and system interface development. This position is well suited to those seeking leadership roles on future efforts.
Bachelor's Degree & 2 years experience.
Must have U.S. Citizenship with current or active Top Secret level clearance
This position can be filled level higher with Bachelor's Degree & 5 years experience or Master's Degree & 3 years experience.
The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation experience, and the ability to work with a diverse community of engineers and managers to achieve the goals of the program team.
