Northrop Grumman's Aerospace Systems Global Mission Excellence organization is seeking a Mission Assurance Manager 2 to join our team of skilled, motivated, and diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, California within our Space Systems division.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead a team of Quality Professionals, supporting a variety of subcontracts and production and integration areas at Space Park. The selected candidate will report to the Space Park Center of Excellence Mission Assurance Director and will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of high level Quality Professionals supporting a variety of programs, products, and processes.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for providing programs and integrated product teams with competent personnel, functional oversight, customer interface, and technical expertise to establish, implement, and analyze processes; provide quality improvement tools through root cause, corrective and preventive actions; and introduce methods for quality enhancements. Additionally, the selected candidate will be responsible for providing oversight and guidance on quality policies and procedures for electrical, mechanical, and integration assembly and test, processes. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
- 5 years of experience in quality, manufacturing or engineering
- 2 years of lead or supervisory experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an SCI clearance
- Master's degree in a STEM or other relevant field
- Active SCI or TS clearance or recent favorable SSBI
- Experience managing or leading Quality personnel in production, integration, or test environments
- Experience with reading and interpreting program plans, customer quality requirements and specifications, wiring schematics, blueprints, GD&T, and use of basic inspection equipment
