    The Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Systems Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer based out of Woodland Hills, CA.

    What You'll get to Do:

    • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
    • Participate on teams to resolve problems to root cause and effect corrective design actions.
    • Present to management and customers translating customer needs into requirements for hardware, software and test verification.
    • Organize and participate in system verification activities.


    Qualifications :

    Basic Qualifications:

    *This position may be filled at the higher level based on the following qualifications*

    • BS in Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or STEM related discipline with 2 years of relevant experience; MS in Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or STEM related discipline with 0 years of relevant experience.


    • BS in Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or STEM related discipline with 5 years of relevant experience; MS in Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or STEM related discipline with 3 years of relevant experience; PhD with 0 years of relevant experience.

    Additional qualifications:

    • Experience with MathCad and Matlab/Simulink.
    • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE)/Simulation experience is desired.
    • Familiarity with Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) are pluses.
    • A Master's degree in technical discipline is desired.
    • Experience in control system analysis, electronics and inertial measurement technology as applied to advanced inertial
    measurement and navigation systems and/or experienced in Aircraft Avionics and Cockpit Modernization.
