Description:This position is for a Concurrency Manager to support the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Air Commando Training Support (ACTS) contract centralized at Hurlburt Field, FL. The Concurrency Manager is responsible for analyzing upcoming and current aircraft changes to determine the applicability of rolling identified changes into the AFSOC ACTS aircrew training systems and courseware. The selected candidate with interface with United States Government (USG) personnel, Aircraft and Simulator Program Management Offices (PMOs), and Lockheed Martin staff to stay abreast and track all proposed changes for the AFSOC ACTS training systems. As a liaison with AFSOC, AETC, ACC, and ANG, the Concurrency Manager will ensure aircrew training issues are in the forefront of the ACTS training programs. The Concurrency Manager will attend and provide inputs to aircraft modification reviews and AFSOC Configuration Control Boards.
Concurrency tasks include:
• Analyze proposed aircraft design change to determine effect on overall aircraft training systems and courseware
• Lead the ACTS Modification Concurrency Working Group (MCWG) to convey upcoming changes for government consideration for implementation
-Prepare and distribute MCWG agenda
-Chair bi-weekly MCWG to status the USG on aircraft concurrency efforts and report impacts to the ACTS aircrew training systems
-Review TCTOs, Operational Supplements, Safety Supplements, Flight/Maintenance Manuals, and other government documents to assess impacts to ACTS aircrew training systems
-Track and status budgetary estimates (BEs) at MCWG
-Track and status trainer obsolescence issues. Identify obsolete parts, provide training impact and replacement plan.
• Participate in Program Management Reviews
-Excellent communication skills. Candidate will interface with AFSOC ACTS PMO, applicable aircraft and simulator PMOs, and other LM functional groups.
-Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
-Strong leadership skill
-Willing to travel as required
-Experience with the CV-22, AC/MC/HC-130J, MC-130H, C-146 and AC-130W aircrafts and simulators
-Experience in preparing budgetary estimates
-Active SECRET clearance
