    Job Description

    Description:Position requires knowledge of AUTOCAD drawing tool.

    Position requires familiarity with CIPS Visualization Component (CVC) Air Force enterprise-wide resource used to manage communications infrastructure drawing assets.

    Position requires familiarity with CVC single toolset to plan, perform, and sustain a geospatially accurate, complete and secure communications drawing set.

    Position will be staffed 8x5 weekdays minus US Federal holidays.

    Draftsman will take task direction from the WOMS Work Center Lead

    Prepare new or updated CMAFS Computer Systems Installation Record (CSIR) drawings delivered for all authorized CIPS/EWOMS projects.

    Manage CSIR drawings IAW TO 00-33D-3003 and TO 00-33A-1001 Chapter 19 using the Government provided AutoCAD system.

    Maintain current CSIR drawings for outside plant, inside plant and all infrastructure, equipment, and systems of Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station using CIPS 5.0 with CVC for inside plant.

    Review baseline drawings for accuracy, document the review on the drawing, and report the review to the 21 CS Configuration Manager. Expected workload: 350 CSIR drawings and 775 Baseline drawings. Approximately 1200 sheets annually.

    Update and deliver Cable drawings (~157 annually) to the 21 CS Configuration Manager.

    Document cabling/conveyance by building and floor.

    Update engineering drawings using approved ECN's.

    Maintain drawing log numbers.

    Update changes to floor plans driven by new installs or removals. Plot and deliver drawing packages to 21st and NISSC II.
    Basic Qualifications:
    Position requires a minimum security clearance of SECRET.

    The Draftsman may be asked to support other areas/work centers on the NISSC II contract. He/she will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to classified information. He/she may be trained and must pass initial and recurring evaluations such as Forklift Operations to maintain employment.
