    Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking an emerging authority Guidance, and Control Engineer with an active Secret clearance for a position in Grand Prairie, TX working with advanced missile systems.

    Representative areas of responsibility include: performance analysis, generation of error budgets, in the analysis, simulation modeling, fire control development, engage-ability analysis, development and refinement of guidance laws and autopilot algorithms, test support, seeker and truth modeling, and conducting trade studies.

    Grand Prairie is part of the "Mid-Cities" region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate. This North Central region of Texas is a great place to live and to raise a family. The region is home to numerous colleges and universities to include University of Texas at Dallas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of North Texas, Southern Methodist University, and Texas Woman's University. The Mid-Cities is the suburban region filling the thirty-mile span between Dallas and Fort Worth.     Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

    Experience with the following:

    • Development.

    • Data analysis of simulation, lab test, and test data.

    • High-level programming language such as C or .
    Desired Skills:
    • Prefer strong math, computer, communication and problem-solving skills.

    • A desire to be part of a team on a missile development program.

    Experience with the following:

    • 6 Performance of aircraft or missile systems.

    • Algorithms for guidance, autopilots, signal processing, and fire control.

    • Development of algorithms for fire control or missile systems.

    • Desire to learn detailed ground system/fire control theory and operation.

    • Experience/exposure to modular software architectures.
