Description:The Global Sustainment Project Manager will manage the projects assigned for the Global Military Systems and Services (GMSS) market segment within Sikorsky Line of Business (LOB). The Project Manager will provide the Global Sustainment interface with Sikorsky Market Segment Program team and Internal/External Customers for all Sustainment elements for assigned programs/platforms. The Project Manager will lead diverse support teams from within Global Sustainment Centers of Excellence (COE) in the development and execution of unique and comprehensive technical solutions that bring innovation and affordability to the customer.
The Project Manager will drive teams to meet all contractual and technical commitments made to the programs while ensuring teams track Earned Value Management System Metrics, technical and staffing risks, cost, schedule, performance, baseline in documents, and key Technical Performance Measures (TPM). Works with PM to ensure organizational standard processes are adapted, approved and executed. Leverages proven processes, lessons learned, and best practices from other parts of business or industry. In concert with the LOB and/or Market Segment PMO, ensures program plans and technical baselines are consistent with Program Control processes and Global Sustainment Practices. Leads Global Sustainment capture teams to shape, create, estimate, and propose new business as it relates to the program. The position reports directly to the Sustainment Manager of Global Sustainment for the GMSS Market Segment within the Sikorsky LOB.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Considered an emerging authority. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management
Solid understanding of Sustainment Elements and the interrelationships and interdependencies
Experience in Earned Value Management System

Excellent communication and presentation skills
Domestic and International travel required (Approx. 10%)
External and End User customer relationship building
Highly motivated, self-starter with superior leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively lead a diverse team of employees across functions and LOBs
Knowledge in Sustainment elements / skills in logistics management database environment
Knowledge in Supportability elements such as Publications, Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), Provisioning.
