Survivability Engineer with radiation, nuclear skills, background with electrical, electronics design and piece part experience. Candidate should be familiar with the effects of radiation to electronic piece parts. Responsible for developing test plan, test procedures and test reports for piece parts subjected to various radiation environments such as total ionizing dose, dose rate, single effect upsets, displacement damage dose and others. Candidate will develop prototype hardware to support testing and characterization.

Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1 and hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.
- Experience with mixed-mode Analog/Digital design including high-density FPGA/DSP devices
- Must have Secret security clearance to start
- Experience with circuit analysis utilizing SPICE tools
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
- Familiar with radiation transport analysis tools such as; Novice or Monte Carlo N-Particle (MCNP)
- Mentor Graphics DxDesigner/Expedition design experience
- Integration and test experience of digital, analog and power circuit card designs
- Very well versed in Lab Equipment needed for electrical integration
- Previous Electro-Optic targeting systems CCA development and hardware/firmware/software integration desired
- Ability to work fast pace along with CCA / FPGA and Software designers with minimal to no direction
