We are looking for a senior software engineer to help us build the next generation of Azure compute infrastructure that powers Microsoft first party and third-party customers. This is a rare opportunity to define and drive the next frontier of compute infrastructure that can meet the ever-growing compute demands and optimize utilization of the hardware through high performance, higher scale features running on large quantity of hardware. We also work very closely with an applied research team, so we are able to stay abreast of the latest cutting-edge research, as well as participate in research publications. This senior software engineer position involves working with developers, researchers and data scientists in a start-up-like environment. You will be expected to design and develop robust, distributed, scalable and resilient platform for Azure Computing, including services and tools; Live site monitoring, tooling and customer engagement on issues and features that affect customers; proactive live site detections and mitigations .
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Distributed systems design and analysis
- Technical depth and Practical work experience in Machine learning.
- Sufficient coding skills to independently gather data, implement ML models, evaluate their accuracy, and build Machine Learning Pipelines.
- 5+ years of coding in Java/C#/C++
- Experience with Python/Numpy/Jupyter or C++ and Deep learning frameworks like Pytorch or Tensorflow Experience developing and deploying ML models to solve real-world problems.
