    The Application Systems Analyst designs, supports, maintains, and monitors Data Engineering Applications to achieve quality, stability and maximum uptime. The Analyst performs technical functions including: evaluating, supporting, implementing and troubleshooting Data Engineering Applications for Enterprise Data Warehouse. The position requires working technical knowledge in the area of expertise. The Analyst works with users to design and configure the system to meet the user's requirements while maintaining a corporate best practice standard. The analyst performs a variety of technical functions including test plan testing and troubleshooting of system problems.

    CHSPSC, LLC seeks a Application Systems Analyst for its Franklin, TN, headquarters' Solution Design Implementation team.

    Position Description:

    The Application Systems Analyst designs, supports, maintains, and monitors Data Engineering Applications to achieve quality, stability and maximum uptime. The Analyst performs technical functions including: evaluating, supporting, implementing and troubleshooting Data Engineering Applications for Enterprise Data Warehouse. The position requires working technical knowledge in the area of expertise. The Analyst works with users to design and configure the system to meet the user's requirements while maintaining a corporate best practice standard. The analyst performs a variety of technical functions including test plan testing and troubleshooting of system problems. The Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining application documentation and standards development. The Analyst complies with Corporate and Department policies and procedures and has excellent communication skills.

    The Application Analyst:
    • Primary responsibility is to build reliable and scalable data ingestion and transformation programs to process data from various sources.
    • Design and Implement Data Engineering Applications Data Warehouse Solutions to integrate various EMR systems.
    • Uses provided project management tools to organize activities for multiple projects to ensure completion of the product/program/project on schedule
    • Has ability to train and mentor junior staff members.
    • Must be organized and show initiative.
    Minimum Requirements:
    • 3 to 5 years of experience working in the Hadoop ecosystem and its components such as
    1. Hadoop MapReduce, Spark Streaming, Impala, Hive, Solr, YARN
    2. Informatica BDE and Power Center
    • Java, Python, or Scala
    1. SQL, JSON, XML
    2. Sqoop, Avro, Parquet, Flume, Kafka
    • 1 to 2 years of experience developing Spark, Scala, map reduce programs
    • 3 to 5 years with scripting languages like Python or Perl, and regular expressions
    • Some Experience working in Linux/UNIX OS
    • Knowledge of concurrency and multi-threading, and big/fast data concepts
    • Good Knowledge of SQL, database structures, principles, and theories
    Education:
    • Bachelor degree in Computer Science/ Mathematics/ Medical Technology or equivalent experience.
