    Job Description

    Full Time, Days shift The Clinical Nurse Leader in the NICU at the Women's Center Responsible for compliance with overall nursing practice standards of the specialty area; reports to the department Supervisor. CNL uses established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all licensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff in the delivery of patient care during their assigned shift. Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources.

    Northwest Medical Center Women's Center NICU

    15 beds, 2 transport beds, and 1 isolation room

    NICU is level 2E & SCN (Special Care Nursery) unit for monitoring and blood sugar

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    ADN or Diploma in Nursing Program, BSN preferred

    Experience:

    Minimum 5 years of Level 3 or above NICU experience.

    Prior charge RN experience preferred.

    Skills:

    Ability to educate, mentor, create policies and bedside care required.

    Licenses/Certifications:

    Required:

    Current Arizona RN license or compact state license

    BLS certification card (CPR)- American Heart Association
