    Job Title: Account Manager

    Job Summary: Mesa Energy Systems has an immediate need for an Account Manager in San Diego, CA. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for bid activity, driving sales, and owning contractor and client relationships. The candidate is to focus his/her efforts on providing EMCOR mechanical and energy solutions direct to contractors, consultants, and end users, which includes but is not limited to design build, plan and specification, retrofit systems, and new mechanical and energy service opportunities.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    • Establish relationships with prospective clients in the end user space that have service needs
    • Identify and understand customer business needs, and develop mechanical and energy service solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
    • Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, and proposals and provide to customers
    • Combine traditional sales strategies with new and innovative methods to seek out and win new customers; Participate in industry organizations and other networking events that will support prospecting and account management
    • Leverage available utility, rebate, and incentive programs, as well as other Mesa offerings (solar, automation, lighting retrofit, etc.) to reduce customer return on investment and to increase likelihood of a long term partnership
    • Collaborate with Branch sales and operations leadership to ensure effective customer relationship management, cost estimation, and scope development
    • Develop sales at defined margin levels to grow market presence in San Diego
    • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or similar technical discipline or equivalent industry experience
    • 1-3 years of experience in Mechanical and Energy services sales or equivalent technical sales experience
    • Relevant technical experience, preferably in HVAC, construction, mechanical building systems, electrical systems, lighting controls, general contracting, or an application engineering environment
    • Strong customer presentation skills and sales aptitude, as well as experience in writing technical proposals are required
    • Financial acumen, inclusive of cost modeling for sales proposals
    • Independent decision making is required
    • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
