    Job Description

    The Director of Practice Management is responsible for managing, directing, planning and administering the business aspects of the physicians and for supervising the non-physician staff. He/she is held accountable for cost effectiveness/financial management, access to services, member satisfaction and teamwork with operational areas. He/she serves as liaison between the clinic physicians and hospital administration. Practice manager reports directly to the hospital CEO.

    Education: Bachelor's degree and Graduate degree (MHA or MBA) is preferred.

    Experience: Three - five years experience as Practice Manager/Administrator in physician practice management preferred. Experience in a hospital system or a complex hospital environment would also be considered preferable. Must be able to function effectively under stressful conditions.

    Licenses/Certificates: MGMA Membership and/or ACMPE Certification preferred.
