Creates, directs, and implements the policies and procedures for the outpatient surgical function. Ensures a high level of quality care and services for patients by coordinating and communicating operational procedures to staff and physicians. Monitors, evaluates, and modifies programs while adhering to company guidelines and standards. Bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 7-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.
The Administrator will be responsible for the direction and coordination of all aspects of the surgery center including development and implementation of goals and objectives, physician relations, marketing, staffing, contracting, quality improvement, compliance and operations including budgetary and financial responsibilities.
Preferred: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing (RN) or Bachelor's Degree in related program (health administration, business administration, management, etc.)
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master's Degree in related program (health administration, business administration, management, etc.)
Required: High School Diploma
Required: Five years minimum experience in management/administration in an ambulatory surgery or hospital setting. Demonstrated experience with ambulatory surgery issues.
Required: Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, management, and organization skills.
