    Crittenton Children's Center is currently looking for a full time Maintenance Supervisor for the day shift that will be responsible for supervising the maintenance employees as well as the environmental services function with all of the Crittenton Children's Center buildings. Crittenton Children's Center is located on a picturesque, 96 acre campus in south Kansas City (near Longview Lake) providing serenity, beauty and privacy to assist with the healing process. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday, day shift.     Since 1896, Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas CityCrittenton Children's Center has served as the region's premier psychiatric care provider for children, adolescents, and their families. Crittenton is licensed as a psychiatric hospital by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, and licensed as a Child Placing Agency and Residential Child Care Agency by the Missouri Department of Social Services-Children's Division.

    Responsibilities:
    • Supervising, leading and coordinating employees engaged in maintaining a clean and orderly condition throughout Crittenton's Children's Center in patient care and ancillary areas.
    • Striving for and ensuring customer satisfaction in all areas of responsibility.
    • Assigning employees to both routine and specific tasks.
    • Recording and maintaining all documentation as requested by Human Resources and JCAHO standards. Educates and trains new employees.
    • Demonstrating new techniques and maintaining equipment. Practicing cost containment involving supplies and equipment purchases.
    • Completing periodic inventories and working with management on any un-budgeted needs.
    • Responsible for the supervision of the environmental services functions within all buildings; ensuring a clean and safe environment throughout the campus.
    • Ensuring proper staff training, organization and direction of Environmental Services Associates. Ensuring compliance with JCAHO and OSHA recommendations.

    • 2 yearssupervisory or managing maintenance experience in a healthcare and/or residential facility.
    • Clean driving record and current driver's license
