    ***This is a remote-based position in Columbus, OH*** PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The Regional Operations Consultant (ROC), based out of Columbus, OH, is an entry-level multi-unit position primarily responsible for monitoring the Wingstop brand standards for product quality, guest experience, cleanliness, safe food handling and facility maintenance in the North Region including, Missouri, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana PRIORITIES: • Brand Protection - Adherence to Wingstop process and procedures in all areas: o Operations, Training • Economic Model - Consultation and influence over: o Sales and Profitability, restaurant unit economic model Provide support (or be the liaison to a support department) and guidance in all areas of operations, training, marketing, purchasing, development, FA adherence. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 80% - Time Allocation - Program Execution: • While conducting Quality, Service and Cleanliness (QSC) evaluation, identify and document deficiencies in brand standards consistently across all assigned restaurants. • Provide coaching and recommendations to restaurant team for all deficiencies identified. • Conduct follow-up visits for restaurants in default and coach for improvement. • Assess on-going QSC processes, identify areas for improvement, present recommendations for improvement to Operations Leadership team, and lead the change process. • Represent the training and operations teams in special projects on as needed basis. • As a member of the regional cross-functional support team, participate in Town Hall and Co-op meetings. • Complete administrative tasks (example: scheduling, travel, expense reports, emails, calls) timely. • Regular and predictable attendance. • Other duties as assigned. 20% - Time Allocation - Operational support for a small group (up to 10) of brand partners and restaurants within region: Facilitate business planning and review process to help improve results within individual franchisee organizations. Ensure franchisees obtain business excellence through planning and follow-up through Quarterly Business Reviews. o Assist Franchisees in analyzing their business opportunities and areas for improvement through short and long term business planning. Periodically review KPI (Key Performance Indicators) • QSC Results • Guest Feedback o Survey Results o Complaint Resolution • Sales Trend • Profitability • Management/Team Member development and training • Facility improvements/remodels • Local restaurant marketing Conduct operational visits to franchisee restaurants. o When possible visits to all restaurants should be made, but priority will be to restaurants with opportunities and performance issues. o All restaurant visits be focused on Wingstop standards and brand protection: Guest experience • Food quality • Hospitality • Facilities maintenance Safe food handling and sanitation Adherence to purchasing standards and approved vendors Provide Franchisees with appropriate coaching, training education and development tools. o Ensure Franchisees have completed and implemented all current restaurant level training programs o Facilitate needed support from the training department Provide support for franchisee restaurant development and growth. o Guide franchisee through NRO process Document activities, visits and contacts with Franchisees including: o Short and long term business plans and goals o Action plans o Email communications o Key phone communications o Documentation can be in a formal written communication to the franchisee or a note to file for internal documentation. o Maintain a detailed Outlook calendar of completed and planned activities Enforcement of the Franchise Agreement o Monitor all aspects of the restaurant operations for compliance with the FA. o Utilizing RVP and legal department, coordinate and monitor compliance, default and termination process o Follow up and enforce compliance of required restaurant investment programs (new menu boards, signage, equipment, POS, remodels) o Responsible for review and recommendations of all restaurant variances to brand standards o Works with restaurant development team on encouraging and enforcing development obligations for new restaurants Serve as liaison between WRI Corporate Office and Franchisees o Deliver company objectives and regional goals and ensure they are communicated with all franchisees o Facilitate communications between corporate departments and Franchisees o Work closely with Marketing department on execution of marketing initiatives in restaurants o Work closely with the real estate department and franchisees on recommending opportunities for new restaurant locations o Conduct/facilitate restaurant visit/tours with corporate departments in the field


    ESSENTIAL SKILLS: • Extensive travel is required • Genuine desire to serve our guests, franchisees and our team • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to identify learning gaps and determine appropriate intervention • Self-starter with a passion for continuous learning • Maintain a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations • Manage multiple projects and timelines • Foster strong working relationships within team, cross-functionally and with Franchisees • Strong facilitation skills • Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus • A valid U.S. driver's license required EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: • Current restaurant training experience (minimum 3-5 years training experience) • Experience 1-2 years of experience leading teams • Experience working with Franchisees preferred • College degree preferred but not required
