    Job Description:

    Supervises employees. Communicates with parties inside and outside of own team to explain and interpret policies, practices, and procedures. Adjusts basic procedures and processes. Plans and establishes operational objectives for a team with some impact on department results. Understands basic supervisory approaches and has practical knowledge of job area. Provides day-to-day work direction for direct report(s), focuses on maintaining steady workflow and productivity and resolving operational decisions. Provides input on hiring, firing, promotion, performance and/or compensation decisions for direct report(s). Reports to Senior Supervisor or higher.
    • Successfullysupervise production and test functions for assigned standard products and responsibilities.
    • Ensure that shipments are met according to plan.
    • Manage allocated resources to ensure that thedivision's business objectives are met.
    • Define process requirements/improvements for assignedstandard product production and test activities.
    • Successfully complete delivery of all assigned standardproducts on time and within budget.
    • Responsible for ensuring that adequate resource(s), including those required for test, are identified to support productionrequirements.
    • Coordinate with Procurement for the timely delivery ofall material to ensure the division's business objectives are met.
    • Work closely with Production Control Personnel andother groups within Operations to ensure the timely delivery of allrequired subassemblies to support schedules.
    • Identification and implementation of process/testimprovements to reduce cost and schedule times.
    • Responsible to management for the day to day activitiesof assigned team to include training, monitoring and documenting individual performance
    Essential Functions:
    • Lead a medium to large group of manufacturing professionals
    Qualifications:
    • Must have a working knowledge of Lean ManufacturingPrinciples and their application to the manufacturing environment.
