Responsibilities Anchor Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Masteru2019s prepared Social Worker- PRN, As Needed. Established in 1986, Anchor Hospital specializes in the treatment of behavioral health and addictive disease disorders for teens, adults and seniors. Our mental health facility in Atlanta, Georgia is located on a secluded, 55-acre campus, less than three miles from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and is accredited by the Joint Commission. Our continuum of services includes a 24/7 free, confidential psychiatric assessment by Georgia behavioral health professionals. Anchor Hospital is a proud supporter of the National Action Alliance on Suicide Prevention. We provide Georgia behavioral health education and resources to help improve the communities we serve. The Social Worker are responsible for conducting therapeutic services for patients, interviewing and developing the psychological history, assessing the therapeutic needs of the individual and family, developing appropriate treatment objectives, and treatment plan updates for patients. The Social Worker conduct family sessions prior to discharge. Acts as the patientsu2019 and familiesu2019 primary contact during the patientu2019s stay at the facility, as well as their advocate with the treatment team. The Social Worker is also the liaisons with outside agencies and individuals for the purpose of developing and coordinating discharge planning with the treatment team and family. Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication Outstanding customer service skills Strong computer skills. Ability to work as a team with critical thinking skills related to problem-solving. Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as adherence to confidentiality. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Professional demeanor and appearance. One (1) year direct clinical experience specific to family, individual and group therapy with adults, children and/or adolescents.
