The Food Services Associate performs functions related to food production, food dissemination, and safety and sanitation of food handling operations. These functions include, but are not limited to, portion control, delivery and pick up of trays, equipment operation, washing and sanitizing dishware, and maintain department to food code.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Able to read, write and speak basic English. Ability to perform complex math calculations and verify cash handling and reporting where applicable.
Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year experience in food service industry or healthcare setting.
