Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Engineer Reliability (Fault Diagnostics) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.
The selected candidate should have knowledge of reliability technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and statistical techniques. The applicant should have demonstrated expertise in phases of reliability, availability, maintainability,
supportability, logistics, system integration and testing, ESS, ALT, HALT, Maintainability Demonstrations, Reliability Demonstrations, Growth Planning and Testing, and Sparing analysis. The selected candidate would be expected to perform Fault Logic that is used to aid in the maintenance and troubleshooting of the platform. Fault Logic signatures are developed for each fault in the Operational Profile Event Logging System. Utilizing Northrop Grumman tools and resources to be used in Fault Diagnostics process.
The applicant should have excellent interpersonal and communications skills and excellent ability to prepare and present briefings to senior program leadership.
The applicant should have excellent skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, MS Project) and wide array of experiences with multiple tools, such as Logistics Common Database (LCD) and PARSER tool.
The applicant must be a self-starter, and work cooperatively with a variety of personnel Qualifications :Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math and a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience or a Masters Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math and 3 years of engineering experience.
- Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft products
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SAP/SAR clearances.
- 2 years of experience with reliability and maintainability analysis.
- Experience with multiple software analysis tools such as Relex/Windchill and Reliasoft
- Current Secret Clearance
- Prior Military Experience
