    Job Description


    Job Summary

    Position oversees the planning, implementation and oversight of equipment asset tracking and utilization. Works in collaboration with multiple departments; including Nursing, Transport, Central Stores and BioMed. Responsible to establish number of types of equipment to receive tracer identification tags. Responsible to ensure equipment and tag information is entered into the database in a consistent manner. Assists in establishing equipment par levels and to oversee the equipment par level process. Responsible to oversee the RTLS infrastructure and serves as the system subject matter expert for RTLS. Monitors utilization of equipment. Develops and provides automatic monthly reports on key performance metrics for administration. Identifies opportunities for cost-savings. Develops a budget for equipment tracking; including recommendations for tag repair and replacement and equipment replacement. Assists with integration of asset tracking software and equipment preventive maintenance software.

    Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Required:Bachelors in Healthcare, business, engineering or other relevant field
      • Preferred: Masters
    • Experience
      • Required: Experience in planning and applying information technology to a business function. Previous utilization of process analysis and Performance improvement tools and techniques
      • Preferred: 3-5 years related healthcare experience
