Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.
*1.0 FTE is Full-Time, any position less than 1.0 FTE is Part-Time, and .001 FTE is Optional Part-Time*
*Positions with an "FTE" (full time equivalency) of .8 - 1.0 are eligible for full-time medical, dental and vision benefits. Positions with an "FTE" of .5 - .799 are eligible for part-time pro-rated medical, dental and vision benefits*
Shift: Shift 1
Accountable for the management of patients with wound, ostomy and continence needs. Provides clinic care and education to outpatients as needed. Provides direct inpatient care and education. Serves in the role as clinician, consultant, educator and researcher. Provides leadership and direction for coordination and improvement of WOC care at Froedtert Hospital, including development of policies and procedures, guidelines, standards of care and research. Other duties as assigned.
Recent and substantial experience as an expert clinician and educator is required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. Masters degree is preferred.
Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) through the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) or Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) is required with 12 months of hire or transfer into the position. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 3 months of hire.
