Please note that although the successful applicant will be part of a research team and their role is not research driven.
The successful applicant will interact with human subjects on an almost daily basis. This will involve contacting subjects by phone to determine eligibility and scheduling for study visits. In addition, the applicant will obtain consent for participation in studies; complete forms, questionnaires and/or basic neuropsychological tests with subjects; assist with motor evaluations; and shepherd subjects during their study visits. An excellent candidate for this position will have strong conversational and communication skills, and be able to seamlessly engage new subjects and make them feel comfortable in the research environment. The applicant also will be responsible for data entry into study databases, maintaining IRB materials, and regulatory updates. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance and thus the successful applicant must be able to keep information and data collected during the study confidential. The position is renewable annually, depending on grant funding
This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with a possibility of refunding.
This position typically requires anAssociate'sdegree or higher (Bachelor's degree preferred) plus 2 yearsofrelated experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The following backgroundchecksmustbe successfully completed for this position:

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
