    Noise Vibration Harshness Engineer

    Location: Mountain View, CA
    Duration: 12 months

    Description:
    • MOMA Title: NVH Engineer
    • Client Noise Vibration Harshness (NVH) team works on hardware design, validation, and failure analysis to minimize unwanted noise and vibration and optimize their sound quality for various Client HW products. We work closely with cross-functional teams to find innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. Manager is looking for an NVH Engineer to join the group.
    Responsibilities included but are not limited to:
    - Analyze dynamic and acoustic behaviors from components to products
    - Perform or work with test engineers on experimental/simulation correlation
    - Study and design solutions for related products to meet noise and vibration specifications
    - Participate in root-cause identification for any issue arisen during product development
    - Use leanings from simulation to provide improvement suggestions from product architecture through product development phases
    - Implement known standard methodologies and suggest DOEs for validation
    - Work closely with multi-functional teams in problem-solving

    Skill/Experience/Education:
    Mandatory:
    • 1+ years of experience required. Bachelor's degree or higher
    • A strong background in structural dynamics and/or acoustics
    • Ability to conduct numerical NVH analysis such as finite element analysis,, modal analysis, boundary element analysis, etc
    • -Experience with simulation software packages, such ANSYS, ABAQUS, Virtual-Lab, COMSOL, etc
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
    Desired:
    - 5+ years of experience in the noise/vibration field is a huge plus
    - Experience in piezoelectric (experimental or simulation)
    - Experience in product noise & vibration root cause identification
    - Experience in developing tools enhancing post-processing of simulation or experimental results
