    Primary Responsibilities:

    The employee relations/ labor specialist will implement key policies and programs related - but not limited to - employment, associate relations, salary administration, benefits administration, associate services, communications, and leadership development. The incumbent in this role will assist with the:
    • development of a sustainable high-performance/high-commitment workforce, including hourly and salaried associates
    • execution of key initiatives and aid in the improvement of business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    • personal/professional development of teams and associates
    • preparation of performance review forms and development plans
    Required Education:
    • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration. Masters degree preferred.
    Required Skills and Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience including COBRA, ERISA, FMLA and related state/ federal regulations. Experience working within a Union environment preferred.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving aptitude with the ability to gather and present data
    • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written) both individually and within groups
