    The Broadside team at Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Network Engineer based out of Aurora, CO.

    What You'll get to Do:

    Looking for experienced candidates in the realm of Network Engineering to provide technical support for a large LAN development and maintenance.

    You will get to work on installs, configurations, monitoring, and maintenance of network hardware and software to ensure network availability to the system users. You may work alongside other network support and client server specialists to plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures. You'll provide support to projects involving networks, by helping them connect to the network and troubleshooting issues they may have. You will develop and implement methodologies for analysis, installation and support of the network.

    Routing

    CISCO Hardware

    Qualifications :

    You'll Bring These Qualifications:

    For a Network Engineer
    • Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience; 0 years with a Master's; or 6 years of networking engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
    • Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA).
    • Advanced knowledge of network testing methodologies using routers, switches, and firewalls
    • Knowledge of TCP/IP behavior, network communications and routing protocols, network traffic analysis and DISA STIG guidance
    • Proven Communication Network Engineering in the DoD environment.
    • Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment with other highly motivated network engineers as well as independently at times on large field projects
    • Must have an Active TS/SCI with Poly
    For a Principal Network Engineer
    • Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience; 3 years with a Master's; 0 years with a PhD; or 9 years of networking engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
    • Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA).
    • Advanced knowledge of network testing methodologies using routers, switches, and firewalls
    • Knowledge of TCP/IP behavior, network communications and routing protocols, network traffic analysis and DISA STIG guidance
    • Proven Communication Network Engineering in the DoD environment.
    • Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment with other highly motivated network engineers as well as independently at times on large field projects

    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

    8570 Certification

    Juniper certification (JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE) and CISCO (CCNA, CCNP, CCSP)
