    Job Description

    Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking a well-qualified PC Network Support Tech to support the Redondo Beach, CA site. Roles and responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

    • Install, troubleshoot, service, and repair PC desktops and workstations, printers, peripherals, and related PC software under guidance of IT staff, Security compliance and procedures and policies.
    • Work under limited supervision to support proposal activities and new program start ups
    • Provide new installations, sanitizations, testing and special projects as needed.
    • Provide support to users and troubleshoots/resolves problems. Instructs users in the use of personal computers and networks.
    • Responsible for maintaining acceptable levels of customer satisfaction while adhering to established policies.
    • Spend significant portion of the day in the field supporting offices, troubleshooting and moving equipment.
    • Position requires excellent communication skills and patience with customer.
    • Lift up to 50 pounds.

    Qualifications :

    Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:

    • High school diploma and 4 year of additional education or experience.
    • Active Top Secret/SSBI clearance.
    • Current Security+ (or higher) certification and the ability to maintain that certification.
    • Experience in Windows OS environment.

    Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:

    • High school diploma and 5 years of additional education or experience.
    • Active Top Secret/SSBI clearance.
    • Current Security+ (or higher) certification and the ability to maintain that certification.
    • Experience in Windows OS environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's of Science or other technical based degree
    • CompTIA A+ or Network+ Certification
    • Proficiency in remote administration and troubleshooting of desktop PCs, Visio, PowerShell
    • Experience with zero and/or thin client devices
    • Experience in Active Directory configuring user and computer accounts
    • Cross-platform experience (i.e. two or more: Windows, Linux, Solaris, OSX, UNIX, etc.)
    • Experience supporting VMware VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)
