Northrop Grumman Corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Process Area Manager (PAM) to join our
Sunnyvale, CA campus.
What You'll get to Do:
The Process Area Manager (PAM) directs all aspects and phases of Manufacturing, Assembly and Test operations
from inception through completion. The PAM has responsibility for the Quality, Cost and timely Delivery of Product.
Managing the Safety and Morale of assigned personnel is a crucial function of the PAM. Continuous improvement is a
core competency for the PAM. The PAM identifies process problems and develops solutions.
The PAM must be able to manage with a focus on reducing costs and increasing efficiency (productivity), while maintaining
flexibility (adaptability) to change in meeting business objectives in a dynamic environment. Manages the overhead
budgets for the manufacturing process area of responsibility.
Proven skills in making change and providing clear communication to leadership are a plus. This position also requires
proven skill in leading initiatives and the ability to interface with all levels of management and employees. Travel will at
times be required - 10%.
The PAM monitors and drives adherence to master plans and schedules, as well as cost performance to budgets.
Provides cost and schedule performance data/status as requested. The PAM typically Serves as the Program Cost
Account Manager (CAM) for Factory Touch Labor in the assigned process area(s), and provides estimates for work
Directs the work of Supervisors and Employees assigned to the manufacturing process area of responsibility. Develops
Staffing plans and approach to support execution. Performs Performance Evaluations and reviews.
Interfaces with Employee representatives as required. Assists in facility planning, maintenance and improvements.
Supervisory or management responsibilities for more than one functional area in the Manufacturing and Production job

1NGSPACE Qualifications :Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree required. Minimum 10 years demonstrated Manufacturing Operations management experience managing production hardware.
- Must have experience and be proficient in developing, manipulating, and presenting complex data to executive staff.
- Firm understanding of the fundamentals of MRP
- Must have demonstrated EVMS experience and be proficient at CAM functions.
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
What We Can Offer You:
- Naval and Marine product experience. Experience working on US Navy programs.
- Experience using SAP in a production environment.
- Experience Managing Large Department Budgets.
- 10+ years of Government contracting / DOD Program experience and fixed price production experience are preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in metal fitting and welding processes, general machining and precision large industrial assembly.
- Experience Managing Represented (Union) Personnel
