    Position Summary

    The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is currently recruiting a full-time faculty member in the Division of Breast Imaging. This is an open rank, fixed term faculty appointment. Rank to be determined based on qualifications.

    Our facilities are designated ACR "Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence" and are MQSA certified. The Breast Imaging Radiologists perform all imaging and minimally invasive biopsies. We are active participants in a multidisciplinary team approach to breast disease.

    Educational Requirements

    MD, or MD equivalent, American Board of Radiology Certification and Breast Imaging Fellowship or equivalent experience is required. The candidate must be eligible for licensure in the State of North Carolina and be MQSA qualified.

    Qualifications and Experience

    The candidate should be familiar with all aspects of breast imaging including breast MRI. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, daily patient care, and the training of graduate and postgraduate students. Participation in research activities is encouraged. Clinical services are performed primarily in a teaching setting with fellow, resident or medical student observation and participation. Provision of off-site clinical services are also part of clinical duty as the Division continues to expand.
