Northrop Grumman's Enterprise Services organization is seeking a High Performance Computing Software Development Analyst. The selected candidate will have the option of being based in either Redondo Beach, California or Melbourne, Florida and will support both open area and classified area systems (DoD/SSBI/SCI).
The incumbent will research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. He/she will be involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections. Qualifications :Basic Qualifications:
•2 years of experience in Parallel Software systems and synchronization
•Experience with Job queuing, resource management & sharing
•Experience with basic scripting languages such as Python, Perl and Matlab
•Experience with Linux Operation system with System Administration skills
•Experience with HPC hardware systems, including Node structures, parallel storage systems, high performance low latency network systems.
•The successful candidate will have significant experience and working knowledge of High Performance Computing (HPC) systems.
•Experience with parallel programming techniques, resource sharing and scheduling, high speed networking and parallel storage and memory technologies.
•The candidate will also be versed in MPICH message passing, job queuing theory and GPGPU systems.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance with SCI/SSBI level access Preferred Qualifications:
•Candidates that have built both Hardware and Software parallel architected systems.
•Master's degree with 3 years of experience with HPC systems
•Existing DoD clearance with SCI/SSBI
