Northrop Grumman is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer/ Principal Structural Analysis Engineer to join the Air Vehicle FEM Team. Duties include but not limited to maintaining and updating of Air Vehicle and Detailed FEM's in support of program schedule, coordination with appropriate stakeholders (i.e. Loads/ Airframe IPT's) to ensure the integrity of the deliverable, and providing FEA/ SME support to the IPT's as needed. Tools utilized may include FEMAP, NX CAE, Fibersim, NX NASTRAN, SLIM / VISION, and other software applications.

This requisition may be filled at either a Structural Analysis Engineer or Principal Structural Analysis Engineer level.
The basic qualifications for a Structural Analysis Engineer is a Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 2 years experience in Aerospace Structural Analysis or Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and some experience in Aerospace Structural Analysis.
The basic qualifications for a Principal Structural Analysis Engineer is a Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 5 years experience in Aerospace Structural Analysis or Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 3 years experience in Aerospace Structural Analysis.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance as well as Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Prior experience with Air Vehicle FEM is preferred.
Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred
