Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Cyber Systems Administrator to support a 24x7x365 Cloud Service Desk using the latest infrastructure for Microsoft Azure and related products. This service desk services customers across the DOD and related organizations. The systems, tools, and missions are cutting edge and key to supporting our nation's defense.
As part of the Service Operation Center job duties will include:
- Diagnosing/debugging faults in complex services or distributed systems
- Working knowledge of enterprise network gear including routers, switches, and load balancers.
- Working knowledge of enterprise routing protocols and IP subnetting
- Using common diagnostic tools like Netmon, WinDBG and Wireshark
- Diagnose and mitigate faults
- Identify and drive recovery levers with feature teams
- Communicate effectively through with customers under continuous deadline pressure
•Bachelor Degree with 0 years of professional experience or a high school diploma and four years of experience.
•Familiarity with Python, Powershell, SQL or other scripting tools
•Familiarity with monitoring application systems and trouble-shooting issues
•Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph required
•Experience with software patching, security updates, or system deployment
•Experience developing or troubleshooting in a Cloud environment
•Azure Fundamentals Certification
•Knowledge of the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) security guidelines
•Basic knowledge of network switching and routing protocols
•Ability to work in fast paced, challenging environment
•Excellent communication skills
