    Northrop Grumman Space Systems has an opening for a Production Trainer 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at our Dulles, VA facility.

    Develop and maintain training material for the various work centers. Train to industry standards, to engineering documentation and on-the-job requirements. Must be able to step-in and work on the Harness Assembly floor as a technician as needed. Must be able to coordinate training sessions and meetings with management and employees.

    Qualifications :

    Basic Qualifications:
    • Understanding of cable and harnessing tools
    • Must be comfortable with public speaking
    • High School diploma or equivalent, minimum of 4 years additional education and/or related Cable and Harness experience and an additional 2 years of training experience
    • Experience with Manufacturing Cable and Harness and ISO processes
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Must be able to obtain NASA Level B certification as well as J-STD-001 Certified Trainer (CIT) certification
    • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
    • Display strong interpersonal skills (both oral and written)
    • Know how to prepare a lesson plan
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Know how to manipulate 3D models
    • Understanding of NASA 8739.4, NASA 8739.6, IPC-A-620, and J-STD-001
    • Minimum of 7 years additional education and/or related Cable and Harness experience and an additional 2 years of training experience
    • Experience working in an Aerospace manufacturing environment
