Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking Cyber Software Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located in Annapolis Junction, MD. Our Architecture teams support a wide range of systems and programs.
As a Cyber Software Architect, you will be responsible for the following: Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met.

• Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.
• Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives.
• Determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.

Educational Requirements: BS Degree in a STEM field is required.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below
•14 Years of Software Engineering/Architecture with Bachelors in Science; 12 Years with Masters.
•Good understanding of REST interfaces
•Experience in either 3 tier architecture (front end, application and Data Base) or Service Oriented Architecture
•Experience in publish/subscribe type messaging architecture
•Any experience with Domain Driven Design
•Experience Appling advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
•Developing new principles and concepts.
Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI Clearance with Active Polygraph
Willingness to Support/Preferred Skills and Traits:
•Rapidly builds rapport and trust with customer organization through project-focused collaboration.
•Technical leader capable of leading large team(s) of dozens of engineers.
•Serves as organization spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs.
