Under general direction, design and develop preliminary electrical block diagrams, system schematic diagrams and cable assembly drawings for overall aircraft functional systems including the selection of electro-mechanical components such as connectors, relays, switches, circuit breakers, and terminal junctions to meet Mil Spec requirements and proven commercial practices.
Responsibilities also include facilitation of design reviews with key stakeholders to ensure designs meet requirements. Candidate must be able to collaborate in a team environment, prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result, prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously, and comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions.
This requisition may be filled at either a Principle Engineer level or a Sr. Principle Engineer level
For a Principle Engineer a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university with a minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical design of air vehicle systems or a Masters's degree in Science, Technology, or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical design of air vehicle systems.
For a Sr. Principle Engineer a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university with a minimum of 9 years' experience in electrical design of air vehicle systems or a Master's degree in Science, Technology, or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 7 years' experience in electrical design of air vehicle systems.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Active Secret DOD Security Clearance (last investigation date within 6 years)
