    Northrop Grumman is seeking Mechanical, Structural or Aerospace Engineers to join the Space Systems Intern Program. This position will be located in San Diego, CA.

    As an Intern in the STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS Engineering group you will:

    • Participate in/lead analysis group process improvement and training efforts
    • Compile material allowable and property data to support analysis database creation
    • Organize and archive analysis group technical data and documentation
    • Build finite element models and perform trade studies and analysis to support program schedules

    Qualifications :

    Basic Qualifications:

    •College Junior, Senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Aerospace Engineering
    •Finite element, mechanics of materials, composites, or dynamics course work desired

    •Have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher ((unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
    •Proven leadership ability from past experiences
    •Experience and success in working within teams
    •Strong interpersonal skills to drive actions necessary to accomplish assigned tasks
    •Strong organizational skills in managing time, projects and resources
    •Technical attention to detail on past projects and assignments
    •Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Powerpoint
    •Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
