    Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for you to join our team as a Production Operator based out of Clearfield, UT.

    What You'll get to Do:

    As a Production Operator, you work on the next generation composite structures.

    This job involves the fabrication of composite hardware using a variety of methods such as hand layup, bonding, assembly, trimming and final finishing. It will require development of skills to competently perform a wide variety of tasks designed to produce product that meet our customer expectations. Tasks may be in team environments or individual based.

    This is an internal and external job posting.

    Internal candidates will be required to complete the formal interview process. If selected for this position, internal candidates will continue to work in their assigned area until secret clearance is obtained. Once secret clearance is obtained, internal candidates will transfer to fill this position

    External candidates must have an Active/In-scope DoD Secret Clearance and will be required to complete the formal interview process

    Candidates will receive an 8% premium, in addition to their hourly pay rate, while working on a secret clearance program

    Qualifications :

    You'll Bring These Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent GED (education will be verified) and 2-4 years of experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing environment and/or hand tools
    • Active DoD Secret Clearance/Ability to maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
    • Demonstrated ability using standard measuring equipment and power hand tools
    • Demonstrated abilities in reading and understanding blueprints, technical specifications and operating procedures
    • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
    • Ability to work flexible/changing schedules and weekends
    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
    • Composite experience and/or certification preferred
    • Previous composite, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
