    Job Description

    LogistiCare (LGTC) is the leader in providing non-emergency transportation management services in the healthcare industry and has experienced significant growth over the past 10 years. In 2019, the company managed over 65 million trips in 49 states for individuals needing transportation to/from healthcare services. We manage a network of thousands of transportation providers to ensure that our members get to the qualified services they are entitled to in a safe and secure manner.

    As the healthcare industry continues to experience unprecedented expansion and disruption, there is an increasing opportunity for LogistiCare to provide more effective access to healthcare services via new initiatives and offerings. As a normal course of business, LogistiCare identifies and responds to a range of opportunities for access to healthcare from both government and commercial entities. The proposal team is responsible for responding to a range of requests for proposals from both state governments and commercial managed care organizations (MCOs). The successful candidate will be able to work in a growth oriented organization and be able to simultaneously tackle both daily operational challenges as well as strategic initiatives. The growth of the organization presents both challenges and opportunities for the successful candidate to guide LogistiCare in quality, successful proposals to continue the growth of the company.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    We seek a Director of Implementations to join our growing team. The Director of Implementations will serve as a key position within LogistiCare, with responsibility over our project managers and implementation consultants for all implementations, conversions, de-implementations and upgrades. This role is responsible for resource management, budget, development of project plans, liaising with our sales and account management teams, people management, and standardization. The successful candidate will work closely with their team, the all functional leaders, the Executive Leadership Team, various Subject Matter Experts, and the local operations to oversee the implementations. Functions will include responsibility for client interactions and coordinating at the strategic and tactical levels with other vital functions of the organization to ensure a smooth and on time implementation.

    Primary Relationships:

    The position is part of the Program and Process Management function within the organization and works closely with the senior management team of the company.

    Primary responsibilities include:
    • Ability to provide direction to multiple complex projects, clients, and manage competing priorities
    • Excellent client relationships, external communications, and business acumen
    • Excellent organization, communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate complex, multi-dimensional issues into business impacts and propose solutions that produce a win-win outcome
    • Ability to effectively manage resources and performance to meet current and future demands
    • Ability to coach and mentor implementation consultants and project managers on delivery and change control tools and techniques; ability to provide thought leadership in implementation improvement initiatives
    • Creates, promotes, and ensures team adherence to Implementation methodology, best practice guidelines; provides thought leadership to improve the practice
    • Ability to work collaboratively with the Sales team and take a leadership role in implementation scoping and delivery guidance in the sales cycle
    • Identify and analyze incoming contracts and statements of work
    • Qualify implementation standards and serve as liaison with Executive Team, Accounts Management, and Sales and functional team members
    • Direct the efforts of both implementation and functional team members and coordinating at the strategic and tactical levels with other vital functions of the organization to secure buy in, commitments, and alignment regarding timelines, resource requirements, and scope
    • Develop and constantly maintain the organization's understanding of upcoming, in-process, and completed implementations
    • Ensure implementation resources -- team and functional -- fully understand their role, responsibility, and management expectations
    • Establish implementation best practices and processes that support the company's core pillars and strategy
    Required Qualifications & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree or post graduate coursework preferred
    • At least 10 years of Implementation and related leadership/management experience
    • Strong background in leading software implementation projects including experience developing project team structures and governance models
    • Demonstrated success in managing on time, within scope, and on budget implementations
    • Experience analyzing contracts and working with team to adjust plans as needed
    • Experience with healthcare or transportation implementations under government contracts
    • The ability to rapidly define implementations processes as needed to ensure standardization
    • Ability to work across multiple functions, build relationships, and drive consensus
    • Demonstrated experience managing external stakeholders and attending senior level meetings
    • Strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
    • Proven experience in change management and business process mapping
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite -- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
    • Advanced skills in SmartSheet and/or ServiceNow
    • Demonstrated blend of strategic and operational experience leading and developing highly skilled teams
    • Experience in the use and development of collaborative and document management systems preferred
    • Ability to forecast and deliver on targets on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
